Feature of Light fastness tester:
- The OPTI-FADE is specifically designed to perform accelerated light fastness testing on textile samples in accordance to BS 1006
- OPTI FADE + R-F is specifically designed to carry out accelerated light fastness testing on textile samples. The samples are mounted on test cells in the exposure chamber so that all face the light source.
- The Relative Humidity (RH) in the individual cells can be controlled using an aqueous solution in the PTFE container at the bottom of the test chamber.
- Use an extended syringe to fill each type ‘A’ cell with a PTFE reservoir. Avoid contact between the solution and other cell materials with the PTFE reservoir as the solution may corrode the cell material.
- The instrument can be used with the supplied 500W ML (MBTL) or 400W MBF/U lamps as all control components are conveniently integrated into the base of the instrument.
