- Color Change: color change before and after testing
- Color Stain: color stain on materials that are not dyed and in contact with the test product.

Feature of AATCC 9-Step Chromatic Transference Scale:
- AATCC 9-Step Chromatic Transference Scale is used to visually evaluate color transfer or staining. The scale has five hues (red, yellow, green, blue and purple), all selected from the Munsell Book of Color.
- Determine the degree of staining on the crocking cloth after a crocking test.
